The region slate is over, and Tallulah Falls, both the girls and boys, were unblemished. Both teams beat Rabun County on Wednesday to secure the top seed in Region 8-A DI. The Lady Indians won 4-1 and the Indians 3-2.
“It was an amazing last regular season and region match at home,” says coach Anthony Cox. “Beautiful weather and two victories to clinch an undefeated regular season for both teams and the first seed in the region tournament. I am so proud of the effort our players have put forth all season long. I believe we are going to be playing our best tennis right when we need it.”
The Lady Indians are now 14-0 and the Indians 8-6. Both went 5-0 in region play.
