Never before has a Tallulah Falls team had as much statewide hype surrounding it leading into a season. The Indians, on the heels of a State Runner-Up finish and the best campaign in school history, return a bulk of the talent for an encore performance.

Head coach Justin Pollock returns eight starters, including reigning Region Player of the Year Danny Grant, along with fellow seniors Cole Bonitatibus (Pitcher of the Year), Chase Pollock, BJ Carver, Diego Gonzalez, Andrew Skvarka, and junior Ashton Roache.

SCHEDULE

The Indians have earned the preseason number one state ranking in GIAA Class 4A, with Bonitatibus collecting ‘Big 10’ honors as one of the top players overall in the state. He was joined on the Preseason All-State list by Grant, Pollock, and Gonzalez.

Pollock’s roster has experience, leadership, and pitching depth that will factor in as the Indians seek a state title this spring.

“We’re embracing high expectations on and off the field,” says Pollock. “While we are voted preseason number one, we’re just trying to play one pitch at a time from February to May.”
TFS opens the season with a home scrimmage on February 14 against Augusta Christian, with the official Opening Day slated for February 18 at Osborne. The home opener takes place February 19 against rivals Rabun Gap.

For Tallulah Falls, the team is interested in more than just runs on the board or chalking up wins. Those things will come, along with multiple school records as they did last year when the Indians do the little things right.

PROGRAM HISTORY/RECORDS

“We want ‘GROWTH’ (Gratitude, Respect, Ownership, WE>me, Toughness and Hunger) to be a lifestyle for us on and off the field,” states Pollock.
