Cleveland)- Around six people were displaced following an apartment fire in Cleveland Sunday evening. White County 9-1-1 dispatch sent fire units to the commercial fire at Blue Ridge Apartments, on Bryant Street around 7:15 PM.
Cleveland Fire Chief Ricky Pruitt said, the occupant of one of the units left a crock pot on a stove eye unattended and that started the blaze.
All occupants were able to get out prior to fire department arrival.
Pruitt said the fire ended up damaging two units. The American Red Cross was called to assist the victims.
