The City of Demorest Water crews will be working in the area of State Highway 17 on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 to replace a water service line. Water service will be interrupted (shut off) between the hours of 9:00am and 6:00pm. The areas affected but not limited to are:
HWY 17
Preacher Campbell Road
Amy’s Creek Road
Autumn Breeze Drive
Lovelace Road
Please be advised that this interruption may last for the entire period or for just a portion of the time frame listed above. You may also experience intermittent disruptions of water pressure. Normal water service will be restored to your area as soon as crews complete the necessary work. After water service is restored you may experience some air and or discoloration of the water. This is to be expected and can be corrected by running your cold faucets for a while until the air is gone and/or the water clears up.
