Tallulah Falls School middle school boys and girls track and field teams both received the 2016 Tri-State Conference sportsmanship award.
“We appreciate being honored by other schools for the positive behavior of our athletes,” said middle school track and field coach Scott Neal. “Demonstration of GREAT character is very important to us and is the foundation of the culture we seek to be normal. For instance, our track & field athletes take pride in serving host schools by being the hurdle crew. It is a small way the kids feel they contribute to the efficiency of the meet. It has become a tradition.”
Now in its sixth year, the Tri State Middle School Conference seeks to provide positive athletic experiences for the middle school students of Tallulah Falls School, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School, Summit Charter School, Highlands School, and Tamassee-Salem School.
