Tallulah Falls School Presents CINDERELLA

Madison Ball will play the role of Cinderella in the Tallulah Falls Spring Musical playing on April 17th.

Do you have a special princess that you would like to take to a FREE musical? The Tallulah Falls Middle School drama class is presenting a new take on the classic tale of Cinderella,  April 17th at 7:00PM and are inviting all princes and princesses to attend.

The show is directed by Stephanie Witham who is the current Drama teacher at Tallulah Falls and includes the royal talents of Madison Ball as Cinderella, Morgan Jones as the Fairy-god Mother, Sebastian Herrera as the King, Clarkes Bailey as Prince Charming, Iyana Lee as the Queen, Sidney Butikofer as Rover and Julia James as the Royal Page. Other company members include Marly Welborn, Robin Tamminga, Katherine Chen, Taylor Huling, Ara Belik, Liv Clancy, Mackenzie Rainwater, Allie Campbell, Kally Momoh, Oiva Tarr, Mia Kwarteng and Khadijat Kokumo.

The company is in the final rehearsal stages before the performance and are excited for audiences to see how humorous it is. When asked about what she hopes the audience takes from the show, Madison Ball, who plays the lead role of Cinderella, says,”I hope they laugh and I hope that they just enjoy it and get to see another Fairy Tale world.” Ball and her cast have made sure that their choreography, lines and blocking are spot on so that the production runs as smooth as possible.

Audience members must keep in mind that this production is not written in the usual Disney format, but still brings life and magic directly before audience members.”The audience should expect something new. It’s not the version of Cinderella that we all know, although the story follows the same plot line. There are no mice or a cat named Lucifer but we have a dog Rover and a silly Fairy Godmother. It is a funny and bright version of the story. As a cast, we have had a lot of fun making the characters come to life and I believe that will reflect on the work done that day. I hope the audience will enjoy watching just as much as we have enjoyed putting the show together,” says Stephanie Witham, the director.

The show is written by Robert Neil Porter and Jack Perry. Cinderella is produced by Pioneer Drama Service, Inc., Englewood, Colorodo..

All princes and princesses may enter to see Cinderella at the Gertrude Long Harris Theater at Tallulah Falls School FREE of charge on April 17th, 2015 at 7:00PM. “See you at the ball.”
