Tallulah Falls School announces new Larry A. Peevy Leadership Scholarship

Dr. Larry A. Peevy, President and Head of the School (E. Lane Gresham/Tallulah Falls School)

Tallulah Falls School (TFS) is proud to announce the launch of the Larry A. Peevy Leadership Scholarship, a new opportunity for prospective day students. This prestigious scholarship is designed to support students who demonstrate academic excellence, a strong commitment to community service, and exceptional leadership potential.

The scholarship will cover full tuition and fees for selected students and is renewable through graduation, provided recipients continue to meet the annual requirements.

Dr. Larry A. Peevy

The Larry A. Peevy Leadership Scholarship is named in honor of Dr. Larry A. Peevy, whose transformative leadership and service as president of Tallulah Falls School have had a lasting impact on the institution. The scholarship reflects Dr. Peevy’s dedication to fostering leadership, integrity, and personal growth in students.

Peevy has served as President and Head of School since 2007, bringing a renewed emphasis on the institution’s mission to foster both character and intellect within a diverse, college-preparatory setting. Under his leadership, enrollment has tripled, and the campus has undergone a significant transformation, including the addition of several state-of-the-art facilities, such as the recently opened natatorium.

A tremendous statistic for Tallulah Falls is that 100 percent of graduates are accepted at top colleges and universities.

The scholarship includes full tuition and fees, and recipients will receive a school-issued computer, books, supplies, uniform credit, and optional transportation (excluding trips).
