Gainesville police are waiting on autopsy results in their investigation into the death of a man whose body was found at a local motel.
Officers responded to a welfare check at the Haven Inn & Suites at 766 Jesse Jewell Parkway around 9 p.m. Saturday, August 17.
According to a news release from the Gainesville Police Department, the man was found dead in a room. Investigators are treating his death as suspicious. They say they are following up on leads in the case.
