The Toccoa Police Department has arrested one person and is looking for another in connection to a shooting at the Regency Inn on July 16.
A press release from the Toccoa Police Department said they responded to the Regency Inn in reference to shots fired. When officers arrived, they said they saw one subject running away. That person was pursued and arrested near Broad Street and Franklin Street. The police department also said they recovered a gun from that person.
The Toccoa Police Department is also looking for a second person they say was involved in the shooting. Police released a photo of that person taken at a convenience store shortly before the shooting. They warn he should be considered armed and dangerous.
