A suspect wanted on multiple counts of child sexual exploitation in Hall County was arrested Friday, Feb. 16, at a residence in Spalding County south of Atlanta.
Paul Kizito, 27, was originally arrested in Lula on May 3 and charged with one count each of possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
The arrest came after investigators with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) acted on a cyber-tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and discovered a pornographic image of a child had been uploaded to a Snapchat account belonging to Kizito.
The suspect was released on bond on May 5, 2022.
“Since that time, forensic analysis of two cell phones belonging to Mr. Kizito uncovered an additional 66 images and videos of CSAM,” a news release from the Hall County Sheriff’s Office states.
On Feb. 15, authorities obtained an arrest warrant for Kizito for 66 counts of felony sexual exploitation of a minor.
Following up on tips received from the GBI and local law enforcement agencies in Georgia and Alabama, authorities were able to track Kizito to a residence in Griffin and place him in custody.
At this time, Kizito is in custody at the Spalding County Detention Center, awaiting transport to the Hall County Jail.
