Sunshine greets holiday revelers at Helen Christmas parade [VIDEO]

Thousands of people turned out in Helen today for the city’s 50th annual Christmas parade. Unlike last year when it rained, parade-goers enjoyed the parade under sunny skies.

The golden anniversary parade featured floats, costumed characters, and lots of candy. There were horses, dogs, lots of vehicles with loud horns and roaring engines and, of course, Santa Claus.

Now Habersham streamed the parade live on our Facebook page. We’ll also livestream the Habersham County Christmas Parade starting at 5:30 this evening in Baldwin.

Enjoy and Merry Christmas!
