The South Habersham Middle School POWER Puff football game was held after school on Thursday, October 8. Two teams of girls participated in the game (pictured). The Blackout Ninjas team was coached by Donnie Bennett, and the Whootie Whoos team was coached by John Krippner. The all boy cheerleading squad was coached by Melissa White. They put on a great halftime show with lots of crowd participation. In the end, the score did not fall in the Blackout Ninjas favor. The Whootie Whoos came out on top with a 20-7 score. A fun time was had by all at this intramural sports event!
South Habersham Middle School Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) hosted a kick ball tournament on Friday, October 16. Four teams of students and one teacher team participated in the event. On Saturday, October 17, South Habersham Middle School art teacher Lori Gough hosted a children’s painting workshop. Students learned basic painting techniques while creating their very own Fall masterpiece. Students painted a pumpkin with leaves and were assisted by middle school and high school student volunteers.
