Soccer splits in home match with Loganville Christian

The Indians and Lady Indians took on visiting Loganville Christian Academy at Amick Field on Thursday night, earning a region split in the process. The girls earned a 5-0 win, while the Indians followed with a tough 2-1 loss.

Lady Indians

The Lady Indians moved their program-record win streak up to 8 in a row with the clean sheet victory. The defense was phenomenal, keeping pressure off keeper Kyndal Anderson.

The offense provided plenty of support, as Honora Kahwach, Tamia Moss, Gemma Farris, Jenna Chesser, and Kat Williams all recorded goals. Along with the record win streak, the 10th win is also a program mark, as are the 62 goals scored on the season and 6 shutouts.

The Lady Indians move to 10-4 overall and 7-1 in region play.
