(Cleveland)-The White County Sheriff’s Office has released a sketch of a suspect in connection with the attempted armed robbery and shooting Monday night at Woodlawn Gardens and Farm on Highway 254.
A lone gunman walked up to a drive-by window and demanded money. The victim, identified as Tim Motes, was cleaning at the business and according to White County Chief Deputy Bob Ingram, told the suspect that he didn’t have any money. The suspect then shot Motes in the stomach. Motes was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for treatment. Ingram said Tuesday that the victim was expected to be okay.
A search of the area Monday night for the suspect was unsuccessful. Captain Rick Kelley, with the sheriff’s office Criminal Investigative Division said the suspect is believed to be a white male, between 40-50 years old, approximately 5’ 8 “ tall, weighting about 150 lbs. Kelley advised anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact the White County Sheriff’s Office at 706- 865-5177
