Shubert Alley in the Valley

The Sautee Nacoochee Center is nestled among the beautiful mountains of Northeast Georgia in White County and is home to a vibrant Broadway musical review. Returning for its sixth year in a row, Shubert Alley in the Valley will have you dancing in the aisles. The show will be presented on April 18-19, and 25-26. Saturday performances begin at 7:30pm and Sunday matinees begin at 2:30pm. Shubert Alley in the Valley is produced and directed by Vicki McMorrough and features thirteen local adults eager to show off their “Broadway” side.

Members of Shubert Alley in the Valley include: Trudy Beavers, Catherine Brooks-Grieger, Laura Brothers, Mike Coleman, Elizabeth Crittenden, Cheri-Crutchfield-Luhn, Linda Harding, Ginny King, Barbara Luhn, Vicki McMorrough, Jonathan Pilkington, Caitlin Wells and Laura Williams.

The evening would not be possible without the special behind the scenes talents of: Vicki McMorrough  (Producer/Director), Barbara Luhn (Music Director), Ginny King (Ensemble Number Choreographer), Linda Harding (Technical Director), DeDe Vogt (Sound Mix), the Nancy Brothers (Light Board Operators), Linda Harding (Video and Slideshow Producers) and Daniel Brothers (Slideshow and Technical Help).

Those attending Shubert Alley in the Valley will witness quality entertainment with great vocalists, “tappy” dance numbers, shimmery costumes and much, much more. Some of the timeless Broadway musicals highlighted in this spectacular showcase include: Beauty and the Beast, West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, Sweeney Todd, Les Miserables, Footloose!, Barnum, Wicked and the Tony Award Winning Best Musical, Kinky Boots, to name just a few. The show features exceptional talent and information on each show that is being “spotlit” for your enjoyment.
