South Habersham Middle School has named its Rebels of the Month for August. One boy and one girl from each grade level are chosen by teachers. These students exemplify positive character traits such as dedication, honesty, and kindness. They are (l-r, front to back): Daphne Martinez (6th grade), Cassandra Alvarez (7th grade), Brianne Lee (8th grade), Roberto Rios-Martinez (6th grade), Joseph Bounxayseng (7th grade), and Jacob Edwards (8th grade).
The students were treated to a pizza lunch with their parents provided by The Torch. They received a t-shirt with the saying “Not just strong, Rebel strong”.
