Senior Tallulah Falls soccer standout Katriona Williams of Georgetown, Cayman Islands, was chosen to participate in the U20 Female National Team.
Williams is representing the Cayman Islands in the CONCACAF Women’s Under-20 Championship in Curacao from September 13-17 under the Cayman Islands Football Association (CIFA). The Cayman Islands will compete in Group B along with Anguilla and Martinique.
In the first round, Cayman Islands beat the Bahamas 2-0. Williams started and played the entire match. Their next match is against Anguilla on Friday, September 17.
Williams scored four goals for the Lady Indians last season, helping TFS to a region runner-up finish and state playoff berth for the first time. She was an All-Region selection in 2021.
