As our community remains on edge over the rash of reported school threats and arrests following the Apalachee school shooting, there are proactive steps you can take.

The FBI urges the public to stop circulating screenshots and links to threats online to avoid spreading panic. Instead, directly report threats and suspicious activity to law enforcement.

You can download the mobile SeeSomething SendSomething app for Android or iPhone. This app connects to the GBI Watchdesk, which reviews submissions 24/7.

Other options: Call your local law enforcement agency or the GBI Tip Line at (800) 597-8477. You may also submit information through the GBI Cyber Tip Line at https://gbi.georgia.gov/submit-tips-online.

Please be aware that if you do not submit your alerts directly to law enforcement, they may not be seen and dealt with.
