Search continues for meth ring suspects

Authorities are asking for the public’s help to locate two suspects wanted in connection with the operation of a major drug trafficking organization in North Georgia.

28-year-old Luke Norton of Alto and 35-year-old Lisa “Butterfly” Smith of Toccoa were among 30 suspects for whom arrest warrants were issued this past weekend. Both have alleged ties to a drug ring that authorities say distributed methamphetamine throughout the region. All of the other suspects were taken into custody.
