(Cleveland)- Scotty Wilbanks, a Truett-McConnell College (TMC) alumnus and multiple Dove award winning record producer will be the speaker at this Saturday’s commencement ceremony at Truett McConnell College in Cleveland.
TMC President, Emir Caner said, “Scotty Wilbanks personifies the vision of Truett McConnell, a vision to raise up leaders for the next generation who love the Lord and excel in their calling, how grateful we are that he will speak into the lives of our graduates.”
Truett-McConnell will award 134 diplomas on Saturday.
In addition to a long list of awards and musical accomplishments, Wilbanks has focused much of his time and energy on helping young artists develop their sound as well as find their way into the marketplace. He recently visited the campus of Truett-McConnell to speak with various music classes.
This Saturday will mark the day Truett-McConnell introduces its first master’s graduate and officially becomes Truett McConnell University.
The commencement ceremony is a ticketed event, with about 1,500 guest expected on the campus.
