Habersham Christian Learning Center (HCLC) offers a nurturing environment and guidance to the young people of Habersham County through an educational experience which is preventative in nature. Unique in its concept, this released time program for high school students provides life changing learning opportunities. Students are given the opportunity to focus on their relationships with God, family, and friends enabling them to grow and mature spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and socially. Having a working knowledge of the concepts of our Judeo-Christian heritage allows HCLC teens to form appropriate personal identities which help to build strong characters of integrity and conviction.
Statement of Faith:
We believe in God, Creator and Author of all truth, revealed in the Old and New Testaments and in the present through His Spirit as He chooses. We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s Son, the Way, the Truth, and the Life, who is present and is coming again. We believe the whole Bible is truth and the primary means through which God speaks to us. We believe people become Christians by a personal relationship with and commitment to Jesus Christ. We endeavor to respect and love all and to serve Him by serving others.
Goal:
The goal of HCLC is to strengthen
•    moral values and ethical behavior;
•    relationships with families, others, and God;
