In this heart-warming comedy Alta Moseley plays Dot Haigler, a woman still reeling from her husband’s recent passing and the loss of their life long plans for an idyllic retirement. More troubling is the unsettling prospect of starting a new life from scratch….and all alone.
Alta is brilliant, portraying the vibrant and determined soul of Dot, as she faces the daily onslaught of fears and uncertainties while navigating this unexpected chapter in her life.
Of course Alta is not a new face to the HCT stage, having played such prominent roles in the past as Daisy in Driving Miss Daisy, Dolly in Hello Dolly and Clairee in Steel Magnolias….just to name a few. Alta’s love for the stage and unquenching desire to entertain her audience comes to life in this show.
In addition to her on stage performances, Alta has served HCT for over 20 years, directing countless shows and serving on the board, including several stints as President.
