Sarah Nancy Parks, age 75 of Lula, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 6, 1941 she was a daughter of the late Clifford & Marie Woodlee Baker. She loved roses and humming birds and collected tea-sets.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Dewitt Parks; and brother, Robert Wayne Baker, Sr.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra & Douglas Garrison of Lula; son and daughter-in-law, James Scott and Regina Parks of Cumming; grandchild and spouse, Hayley & Damon Stewart; grandchildren, Staci Garrison, Caitlin Parks and Dustin Parks; brother, Michael Wade Baker, Sr.; brother and sister-in-law, Joel Slater and Martha Baker; sister, Linda Sue Newell; sister and brother-in-law, Dinah B. & Danny Whitmore; sister-in-law, Shirley Baker; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
There will be a family gathering in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 2:00 pm.
