A memorial reception honoring the life of Sandra Jean Waters Mulkey, age 77 of Demorest, will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Hillside Memorial Chapel, Clarkesville.
Mrs. Mulkey passed away Monday, January 31, 2022.
Born in Commerce, Georgia on July 12, 1944, Sandra was the daughter of the late Daniel A. and Louise Barnett Waters. She was a retired office manager with U.S.D.A. Research Laboratories and she was a dedicated volunteer with Habersham Community Theatre.
Survivors include her husband Lee A. Mulkey of Demorest, sons Douglas L. Mulkey (Susan Z.) of Duluth and Gregory A. Mulkey (Kathryn D.) of Ellijay, brother Danny Waters (Denise) of Banks County, grandchildren Matthew Mulkey, Thomas Mulkey and Anthony Mulkey, as well as several cousins, one niece, one nephew and a host of extended family and many friends.
