Sandlot 12-U earns bid to Cooperstown Series, needs community support

The 12-U Sandlot baseball team has earned a bid to the prestigious Cooperstown World Series from July 21-28.

While this is a dream come true for the boys, they need the backing of  the local community to pay for the cost of play and travel for that week. You can help the kids reach their goal and allow them the amazing opportunity of going to the Cooperstown World Series. Those who wish to help the funding efforts can either enter a raffle, or donate via a “Sandlot Baseball to Cooperstown” GoFundMe page.

Raffle tickets can be purchased on the GoFundMe page. Just donate, comment with how many tickets you’d like and you will be messaged with your ticket number.

The team is conducting a Cooperstown Fundraising Raffle, with tickets costing $10 each. Up for grabs is an incredible Analon cookware set ($600 value) that consists of: 12-piece Analon cookware set in bronze, 5-piece Analon bakeware set, cutting board, 9×13 cake pan, 12-count muffin pan, 17-piece Analon knife set in block, Analon tea kettle, and assorted spoons and servers.

The drawing is set for July 4 at 5 p.m., and will be done LIVE on the Sandlot 12-U Facebook page.
