Sam Entrekin, age 55, of Alto, Georgia, went home to be with her mother on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
Mrs. Entrekin was born on May 20, 1969, in Cobb County, Georgia, to the late Charles Lynn Ferguson and Sharon Dill Kaufman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rebecca Hanania. Sam was defined as a free-spirited person with an infectious optimism that uplifted all who crossed her path. Sam was known for her boundless generosity and her innate ability to see the good in every situation, inspiring countless souls to embrace life with a brighter perspective. An avid animal lover, Sam’s heart overflowed with love for all creatures, great and small. Her legacy serves as a testament to the power of a gentle heart and a positive outlook, reminding us all to live each day with compassion and joy.
Survivors include her loving husband, Scott Martin Entrekin, who spent 30 wonderful years with Sam; daughter, Amanda Brawner, of London; sister and brother-in-law, Christine and Cody Chafin, of Gainesville; grandbabies, Ryleigh, Greyson, and Colton; and stepfather, Larry Kaufman, of Marietta.
A Private Memorial Service will be held.
