Runaway teenager found safe in Rabun County

A teenager who has been missing since Monday night was found safe yesterday in Rabun County according to the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office.

Pettyjohn has been found safe as of Oct. 20.

According to the Habersham Sheriff’s Office, Breanna Pettyjohn, 16, left her home with an unidentified person and had last been seen in Clarkesville on Oct. 18 around 5 p.m. before she was found safe.

Pettyjohn was located in Rabun County by a Rabun County officer on Wednesday, Oct. 20. She is now back with her parents.

While details regarding the events that occurred between now and Monday have not been released, nor has further information regarding her being found, concerned community members can finally take a breath of relief.
