Ronnie G. Crowe, age 73, of Alto, Georgia passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020.
Mr. Crowe was born on May 29, 1946, in Hall County, Georgia to the late Sarge Crowe and Nell Garrett Adams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Judy Harper Crowe. Mr. Crowe was a United States Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam Era. He was retired from the United States Postal Service with 30 years of service and had served as the Union Representative for numerous years. Ronnie was an avid golfer and had a great passion for being out on the golf course. He was known as “Pop” to his grandchildren and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Keith Eller, of Demorest; son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Teresa Crowe, of Clayton; granddaughters, Amber Eller Wingate, Heather Eller; and great-grandson, Houston Kytle. sisters, Brenda Reynolds, of Warner Robins; Linda “Debbie” Shook, of Gainesville; brothers, Roy Lee Crowe, of Gainesville; Ralph Crowe, of Gainesville; and numerous nieces and a nephew.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Rev. David Crowe officiating. Interment will follow in the VFW Memorial Park in Demorest.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 6, 2020, at the funeral home.
