Robert Andrew Woodall, age 56, of Lula, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025.
Mr. Woodall was born on July 25, 1968, in Hall County, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father, Grady Woodall, and brother, Ricky Woodall.
He was a man of the Christian Faith and had put his trust in the Lord. For 15 years, Robert called South Dakota home, where he discovered his passion for driving a concrete mixer. He took great pride in his work with SRM Concrete in Alto, Georgia, where he spent several years behind the wheel. Outside of work, Robert found joy in woodworking, farming, and caring for animals, always finding peace in the simple pleasures of life. Among his many interests, his greatest passion was lawn care. He could spend endless hours cutting grass, taking pride in maintaining a beautifully manicured lawn. Most importantly, Robert will always be remembered for being a wonderful and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Melissa Garris Woodall, of Lula; mother, Sylvia West Woodall, of Cornelia; daughter and son-in-law, Mysti and Thad Sonesen, of Yakima, WA; son and daughter-in-law, Joshua and Harlee Woodall, of Lula; daughter and significant other, Dakota and Alayna Woodall, of Lula; granddaughter, Marlee Woodall; sister, Beverly Morgan, of Cornelia; sister and brother-in-law, Regina and John Carter, of Cornelia; mother-in-law, Margaret Garris; sisters-in-law, Leslie Clark, Laura Garris; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kathy and Ron Carey; and numerous nieces and nephews that he loved as his own.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Connextion Church, 193 N. Main Street, Cornelia, Georgia 30531.
