Road work in and around Habersham could cause some traffic delays next week.
In Habersham County, the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) says a crew will inspect the drainage pipes for State Route 15/US 441. The shoulders will be closed as needed. The faded striping on State Route 105 will be refreshed and the lane will be closed as the new striping goes down.
In Hall County, GDOT crews will replace damaged concrete slabs in the outside lane of State Route 365 northbound about 6 miles north of Exit 24. The right lane will be closed weekdays from 8a.m. to 3p.m. for this concrete work.
Crews will work Monday, Nov. 3 through Friday, Nov. 7. Work hours are 7am to 5:30pm, weather permitting.

Elbert – A crew will seal the cracks in the driving surface of SR 77. A lane closure is required as this work occurs.
Franklin – A crew will repair the rutting that has developed alongside the edge of pavement on SR 51 and SR 326. This work requires the shoulder to be closed and could require a lane closure as well.
Madison – A crew will repair the rutting that has developed alongside the edge of pavement on SR 106 and SR 174. This work requires the shoulder to be closed and could require a lane closure as well.
Gwinnett – A crew will mow the rights of way along SR 20, SR 8/US 29 and SR 120. Another crew will fill the cracks in the driving surface of SR 317. A lane closure is required as this work occurs. Faded striping on the roadway will be refreshed along SR 8/US 29. A lane closure is required as this work occurs.
