Pastor Ricky Joseph Bright, age 52 of Clarkesville, passed away on Saturday, February 29, 2020.
He was born on November 2, 1967, in Aiken, South Carolina a son of the late Robert Jones and Charlotte Bright. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a genuine person and confidante to many people. He loved music, enjoyed the theatre and was a die-hard Clemson fan.
Pastor Ricky Joseph Bright pastored at Restoration Tabernacle of Georgia in Lavonia and was a certified addiction counselor.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Kendra E. Trimiar Bright of Clarkesville; son, Lyrick C. Bright of Flowery Branch; daughter and son-in-law, Harmoni R. & Brian A. Johnson of Flowery Branch; grandson, Jaxson Joseph Johnson; godmother, Barbara Walker of Beach Island, South Carolina; goddaughter, Amaya S. Burnett of Mt. Airy; brothers, Elliott “Jr.” Bright, Kelvin Jones, Robert R. Jones; spiritual mentor, Dr. Earnest Davis; best friends, Tracy Curry of Hartwell, Kerry Crespo of Redding, Pennsylvania; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and spiritual family.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at the funeral home.
