After only one year she was chosen to perform with her partner at the 1977 Dance Exposition at The Hyatt Regency Downtown in Knoxville, Tn.
She moved back to North Georgia and went on to pursue many different occupations in several fields. No matter where life took her, she faced everything with passion, drive and determination.
In her youth Reta was beautiful, vibrant, bubbly, and always wore a smile even in the worst of times. Everyone that she met fell in love with her. The luster and beauty of her youth faded with the hardships of mental and physical problems, but she always remained a sweet and loving woman. She is dearly missed.
