Registration for Rapids swimming lessons is April 27

The Habersham Rapids Progressive Swimming Lessons Program will be holding Registration and Recommendation night on April 27th from 5-7pm.

Summer Fun in the Sun

Summer’s almost here and it’s the perfect time to learn how to swim. The Habersham Rapids Swim Team is offering swimming lessons. Registration opens tomorrow.

The Habersham Rapids Progressive Swimming Lesson Program will prepare any child for open water swimming and teach them water safety.

Registration/Recommendation night is tomorrow, Monday, April 27 from 5-7 p.m. at the Ruby C. Fulbright Aquatic Center in Clarkesville. Please bring your children prepared to swim so that they can be placed appropriately. “Kids get in the water for a three to five minute assessment with one of our teachers. They lead the child through various games and skills and recommend an appropriate level based on his or her ability,” says Swimming Lessons Coordinator, Natalie Jorde.

A $65 registration fee is due at time of registration. The fee covers the first month of swim lessons. It’s $65 per month after that. Checks can be made payable to “Habersham Rapids Swim Team.” No sibling discounts.
