Region Champs! Tallulah Falls goes back-to-back with 4-2 win

The Tallulah Falls Indians officially clinched its second straight Region Championship with a 4-2 road win Thursday at Elbert County.

Jackson Cording, Kale Borchers, Austin Ball, and Jake Wehrstein each scored a goal as #2-ranked TFS secured the victory. Kelton Reynolds played phenomenal between the posts, tallying 17 saves, including a couple at full extension in the second half.

“Boys played really well, a little refocus needed at times but overall good play,” says coach Jeremy Stille. “We moved the ball well at times and were able to exploit their outside channels to create opportunities. This clinches our repeat as region champions. It’s a great start to the break. Then we will continue the hard work to finish out our season and play our final region match before we start the state playoffs.”

The Indians are now 12-1 overall and 9-0 in region contests.
