Clarkesville’s annual post-Fourth of July celebration, “Red, White, and Tunes,” returns to Pitts Park this weekend. The free community event will feature children’s activities, food trucks, a concert, and fireworks in the park.

The city is expecting around 2,500 people to attend.

Red, White, and Tunes will run from 5 to 10 p.m. at Pitts Park off GA 197 North in Clarkesville.

The Dylan Armour Band will bring the unique sounds of southern rock and country to this family-friendly event. Concertgoers can relax in their lawn chairs, stretch out on blankets, and enjoy the music and fireworks.

The little ones will enjoy bounce houses, face painting, and other kid-friendly activities.

Clarkesville Main Street Director Colby Moore says a variety of food from local vendors will be available for purchase, along with a selection of beer and wine for the adults.

Bring your own chairs and don’t forget the sunscreen and bug spray, which are always good to have on hand at summer events.
