Raiders take 9-4 win over East Jackson

The Raiders won their second straight home game of the season with a 9-4 victory over visiting East Jackson.

Habersham Central (2-2) got on the board early, jumping out to a 4-1 lead in the first inning. The Raiders added a pair in the second to stretch the lead to 6-1. East Jackson narrowed the deficit in the third, putting three runs on the board.

Feeling the pressure, the Raiders padded their lead with a run in the third and two more insurance runs in the fifth.

In the prior game at Stephens County, Habersham fell 7-1.  The boys take on Duluth Wednesday evening and take on local foes White County and Stephens County in a Saturday double-header at home.
