The Habersham Raiders turn a new page to the upcoming 2017 season, and today provides a litmus test to see where the boys stand.
The Raiders, who went 5-5 last season and narrowly missed out on a playoff berth, will feature a new quarterback, new running back and others for the 2017 season.
Gone are seniors Cole Wilbanks, Michael Babers and Jake Jones, who were pivotal to the success of the 2016 team. However, there remains a solid nucleus of talented players that can make a playoff run this fall.
On Saturday evening, the Raiders travel to Hart County for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff in their spring game, which will give some guys a chance to show how their hard work this spring has paid off.
