What a week it’s been for the Raiders! Just days after winning Team of the Week honors in an online Atlanta TV news poll, they went on to win last night on the gridiron against the Franklin County Lions.
The non-conference away game in Carnesville made up for the game that was postponed on Sept. 13 due to the weather.
The Raiders’ 34-19 win puts them up 3-2 overall on the season. With the loss the Lions drop to 0-4.
This is the third straight win for the Raiders. They now face five consecutive Region 8-AAAAAA matchups starting with their homecoming game on Oct. 8 against Lanier.
