Rabun County junior Jaden Gibson is the state’s new leader in receiving yards with 605. That comes after a 146-yard game in a 63-7 victory over Saluda, S.C.
Gibson, a transfer from Dawson County and preseason all-state pick, has been quarterback Gunner Stockton’s favorite target among five Rabun County receivers with at least two touchdown receptions.
Houston County’s Simeon Askew (rushing) and Prince Avenue Christian’s Aaron Philo (passing) maintained their leads.
