The Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School Middle School boys soccer team celebrates after their 5-3 championship victory over Tallulah Falls School.
Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School’s Middle School boys soccer and girls volleyball teams both clinched the Tri-State Championship on Friday, October 5.
The Middle School Eagles faced Tallulah Falls School at home for the championship game after blanking Highlands School 3-0 in the semifinals. It was a very close game between the Eagles and Tallulah Falls, resulting in double overtime. The 5-3 win came down to penalty kicks.
The Middle School soccer team is coached by Kim Buice and Cory Heselton. Girls win volleyball championship
In Highlands, the Lady Eagles volleyball squad toppled Highlands Middle School 2-1. The girls came out strong to win the first set, dropped the second, and dominated the third set to bring home the championship title.
