The cyberattack on Georgia-based Colonial Pipeline has spurred a regional fuel shortage.
According to AAA, the national gas price average has jumped 8 cents since last week to $3.00 per gallon.
Georgia’s gas prices have risen by 24 cents. As of Wednesday, Georgia’s average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas was $2.95, up from $2.71 one week ago.
