The Banks County Sheriff’s Office says a teenager missing since Friday has been found and is now back with his parents. 16-year-old Wade Stewart Bolton of Carson Segars Road in Maysville left his residence Friday night and told a friend that he was headed to Florida with “some girls.”
The BCSO posted a notice to Facebook asking for the public’s help in locating the teen. The post stated he had stolen his father’s Glock 21 (.45ACP) prior to leaving.”
The Sheriff’s Office asked for the public’s help and the post and subsequent media notices were shared more than 1,500 times on social media.
The Banks County Sheriff’s Office expressed its gratitude to all who shared the post.
