Public input sought for White County Comp Plan

(CLEVELAND)- White County and the cities of Cleveland and Helen are updating their joint Comprehensive Plan that will be used to guide development and capital projects, such as schools, roads, parks and recreation, infrastructure, and more through 2030 and beyond.

The local governments are working with the Georgia Mountain Regional Commission during this project.

White County Economic Development Director John Sell says the community can play a big part in this effort. Sell said as part of the process, they are asking residents to fill out a survey and provide comments.

Survey forms have been posted on White County Facebook pages and the White County Library will be providing them at their location.

In-person public hearings are planned as officials develop a plan.

You can download a copy of the survey from the White County website or scan the QR code below to take the survey.
