Piedmont College Associate Professor of Music Dr. Andrea M. Price, soprano, will perform a voice recital 7:30 p.m., February 28 in the college Chapel in Demorest.
Accompanied by Karen Sigers on piano, Kyle Dawkins on guitar, and Scot Humes on clarinet, Price will perform works from the 18th to the 20th century, including compositions by Georges Bizet, Franz Schubert, Benjamin Britten, and Antonín Dvořák’s Měsíčku na nebi hlubokém (Rusalka).
The concert is free, and everyone is invited. The Piedmont Chapel is located at 992 Central Avenue in Demorest.
Price teaches studio voice, vocal pedagogy, and diction at Piedmont. She earned a Bachelor of Music in voice performance and music education from Meredith College, a Master of Music in voice performance from Appalachian State University, and a Doctor of Musical Arts in voice performance from the University of South Carolina
