Voters in Habersham will get a chance to hear directly from the candidates this week. A political forum is scheduled Tuesday, April 24, at North Georgia Technical College in Clarkesville.
Candidates for county and state office will have a chance to express their views on the issues. Audience members may submit questions ahead of time that may be selected for a response.
The forum is sponsored by the Habersham County Farm Bureau and Habersham County Chamber of Commerce. It will be held in the Clegg Center Auditorium on the NGTC campus located at 1500 Highway 197 North, Clarkesville, GA 30523.
Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. The forum begins at 6 p.m. Organizers urge anyone wishing to submit a question to arrive early.
