A $1,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest in a deadly shooting in Athens.
On June 21, at approximately 11:15 p.m., Athens-Clarke County police responded to the 100 block of Zebulon Drive after receiving reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers located a man who had been shot.
EMS transported the wounded man to an area hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries, police say. They’ve identified him as 36-year-old Kenton Daniel of Athens.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of the person or persons responsible.
