The Piedmont University Chapel will host the voice recital of Dr. Andrea M. Price, Professor of Music and Department Chair, on Thursday, February 29, at 7:30 p.m. This event is free and open to all.
The concert will include pieces from Verdi, Strauss, Leoncavallo, Poulenc, Weill, Hammerstein II, Rodgers, and Beach. The recital will feature pianist Dr. Karen Sigers, Associate Professor of Music. The event will also feature program notes narrated by Bob Glass, Dean of Libraries & University Librarian.
Dr. Price holds degrees from the University of South Carolina, Appalachian State University, and Meredith College. She has performed internationally in Italy, Greece, and New Zealand and has won numerous awards. She was the winner of the 2010 Georgia National Association of Teachers of Singing Artists Awards competition.
