Piedmont’s Kircher releases 2017 fall men’s golf schedule

Head Men’s Golf Coach JP Kircher has announced the 2017 Piedmont fall men’s golf schedule that features four tournaments.

Kircher enters his second season at the helm of the Lions’ golf program and guided Piedmont to a seventh place finish in the 2017 USA South Men’s Golf Tournament. To view the the full 2017 schedule, click here.

The Lions ended their 2017 regular season with a second place finish in the Hershey Cup while junior DAVIS COOK tied for second with a two-round 147.


Home Opener October 2

Piedmont will host the 12th annual Piedmont College Fall Invitational on October 2-3 at The Orchard Golf and Country Club in Clarkesville, Georgia. Last season, the Lions took home a third place finish and have recorded four top-3 finishes in the past four seasons.


Season Opener

The Lions will open the fall in Tunica, Mississippi for the Rhodes Fall Collegiate Classic on September 17-18. Last season, the Lions shot 621 en route to a 15th place finish at the Tunica National Golf Course. This marks the second season Piedmont will compete in the Rhodes Fall Collegiate Classic.

Final Tournaments
For the third tournament of the fall, Piedmont will stay in-state. The Lions will travel to Flowery Branch, Georgia to compete in the Royal Lakes Fall Invitational on October 7-8. The tournament will be hosted by Oglethorpe University at the Royal Lakes Golf and Country Club.

Piedmont will close out its fall season with a trip to the Royal Lakes Golf and Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina as it will play in the O’Briant Jensen Memorial on October 23-24 hosted by Guilford College. The Lions finished eighth last season with a 617.
