The Piedmont women’s tennis program and head coach Trey Martin are set to host a showcase event for high school athletes on November 5. The showcase will be held at the Burgen Tennis Courts on the Piedmont University campus in Demorest.
There are 24 spots available for boys and 24 for girls.
Overall, the event will include two hours of drills and instruction time taught by the Piedmont tennis players, coaching staff, and outside instructors. That will be followed by one hour of match play. The match play session will be recorded in order to ensure the ability to be sent to college coaches.
The showcase will conclude with a one-hour question and answer session with Martin and Piedmont tennis players about life as a student-athlete.
The cost is $60, and the boys event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the girls showcase going from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
November 12 will serve as the make-up date.
