Piedmont University’s 2024 Winter and Spring CCS Sportsmanship Honorees

The Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) has announced the recipients of the Individual and Team Sportsmanship Awards for the Winter and Spring 2024 seasons, highlighted by Piedmont men’s golf earning the team award.

These awards are presented to individuals and teams who exemplify the highest standards of sportsmanship throughout the season and conference championships.

Individual honors are given to one athlete per team, per sport.

Team Awards

The Team Sportsmanship Award recognizes the collective effort of entire teams that have exhibited outstanding sportsmanship throughout the season. This year, one team from each of the 14 league team championship sports is honored with this prestigious award.

The recipients of the Team Sportsmanship Award are selected by each school’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) representatives comprised of student-athletes who compete in the respective sports.
